A Launch Your Life Mini Retreat

Open to the entire UMB community, UMB’s Launch Your Life is hosting a mini retreat on November 7, 2019. The event will contain powerful sessions on topics to increase awareness and reduce stigma.

WORK-LIFE WORKSHOPS

UMMC Office of Workforce Engagement will be hosting monthly workshops to provide education, resources and support on topics including finances/money management, advanced planning and caring for loved ones. Attend one or all workshops and develop ways to reduce barriers and promote overall wellness.

Employees are welcome to attend and RSVP is not required but preferred. Contact Heather Kangas (hkangas@umm.edu) with any questions.

National Public Health Week


National Public Health Week 2019 kicks off 4/1/19!

Attend events and join in on conversations about focused on the 2019 theme:“Creating the Healthiest Nation: For Science. For Action. For Health.”

The Wellness Hub at UMB will be hosting events throughout the week designed to engage and inform on key public health issues in your local community, nationally and world wide. Check out events listed here.

During the week, we will celebrate the power of prevention, advocate for healthy and fair policies, share strategies for successful partnerships and champion the role of a strong public health system. For more information 

2019 Tuerk Conference New Solutions: Above and Beyond
